About
About Chicagoland Digital
One person who understands the tech behind SEO and websites, working directly with local businesses across the northwest suburbs.
Meet the founder
Hi, I'm Tarun.
I grew up in the Palatine area and went to Fremd, so the northwest suburbs have always been home. After earning my statistics and data science degree at the University of Illinois, I put that background to work for the local businesses I grew up around.
Most marketing companies treat SEO like a black box — they sell a package, hand the work to someone you'll never meet, and send a report you can't question. I come at it from the technical side: I understand how sites are built, how search engines decide what ranks, and how to read the numbers that show whether it's working.
So that's how I run Chicagoland Digital. I build the websites, do the SEO, and read the data myself — no outsourcing, no middlemen. When you hire me, you get me: one person accountable for your results.

Why local
Why a hands-on local operator beats a national agency
For a small business, the difference between a solo operator and a big agency shows up in the day-to-day — in how fast you get answers, how custom the work is, and what you're actually locked into.
You can actually reach me
No ticket queues, no rotating account reps, no waiting days for a reply. When something needs to change, you text or call me directly and it gets handled that day.
Your site isn't a template
National agencies run hundreds of clients off the same playbook. I take on a small number of businesses at a time, so what I build is shaped around your services and your customers — not a cookie-cutter package.
No long contracts or hidden fees
Big firms lock you into year-long retainers padded with overhead and upsells. I keep it month to month and transparent, so you stay because the work is paying off — not because you're trapped.
